Blue Sky, Red Finch

Bird photography can be infuriating. Some days you go wander the woods for hours and see nothing. Sometimes you walk to the mailbox and there's a Bald Eagle skateboarding (never when you have your camera). While there are no kick-flipping raptors, everything aligned perfectly for this shot. I saw the most vibrant finch I've ever seen and followed it around a local lake for a while until it landed in the perfect spot among red leaves for some photos.
