Print & Size Guide

Fine Art Paper
Professionally printed on archival fine art paper. Smaller prints arrive matted in standard frame sizes:

4×6 print → 5×7 mat
5×7 print → 8×10 mat
8×10 or 8×12 print → 11×14 mat

Larger fine art paper prints are sold unmatted and are ready for your choice of framing.

Metal Prints
Printed directly on aluminum for a vibrant, contemporary presentation. Metal prints arrive ready to hang and appear to float away from the wall.

Choosing a Size
The size shown in the selector refers to the photograph itself, not the outside dimensions of the mat. Select a size and finish above to see the options available for this photograph.

Fine Art Paper: 4x6 prints are matted to 5x7, 5x7 prints to 8x10, and 8x10/8x12 prints to 11x14. Larger paper prints are unmatted. Metal prints arrive ready to hang.

About the Limited Edition

Every Spiral View Photography print is part of a signed and numbered limited edition. Edition sizes vary depending on the print size and format.

Each print is personally signed and individually numbered. The signature and edition number are placed on the mat or on the back of the print, never across the photograph itself, so the image remains completely unobstructed.

Once an edition sells out, no additional prints from that edition will be produced.

From the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, the entire spine of American democratic symbolism lines up in one extraordinary composition. The Washington Monument bisects the frame with its familiar limestone authority, its massive base encircled by a ring of American flags snapping in the crisp breeze, while the Capitol Building's unmistakable dome rises perfectly centered beyond it, bright white against a deeply saturated blue sky laced with wispy high clouds. A bald eagle traces a lazy arc overhead, seemingly unaware that it has just made an already remarkable photograph genuinely extraordinary.

The WWII Memorial stonework anchors the foreground with quiet solemnity, and the broad green expanse of the National Mall stretches between it all, dotted with tiny visitors dwarfed by the scale of everything around them. This is Washington at its most visually powerful and compositionally complete, the kind of image that belongs framed and hanging wherever American history and genuine artistic ambition share the same wall.
