Big Waves at the Big Island

This photo, taken at Hawaii Volcano National Park on the Big Island, is one of our most action filled shots. The storm clouds overhead were accompanied by a strong wind, creating those powerful waves. In the distance, you can see the stream filling the sky from lava flows pouring into the ocean.
