Capitol in Springtime

Signed and numbered limited-edition fine art photography, available on fine art paper or metal.

Print & Size Guide

Fine Art Paper
Professionally printed on archival fine art paper. Smaller prints arrive matted in standard frame sizes:

4×6 print → 5×7 mat
5×7 print → 8×10 mat
8×10 or 8×12 print → 11×14 mat

Larger fine art paper prints are sold unmatted and are ready for your choice of framing.

Metal Prints
Printed directly on aluminum for a vibrant, contemporary presentation. Metal prints arrive ready to hang and appear to float away from the wall.

Choosing a Size
The size shown in the selector refers to the photograph itself, not the outside dimensions of the mat. Select a size and finish above to see the options available for this photograph.

Fine Art Paper: 4x6 prints are matted to 5x7, 5x7 prints to 8x10, and 8x10/8x12 prints to 11x14. Larger paper prints are unmatted. Metal prints arrive ready to hang.

About the Limited Edition

Every Spiral View Photography print is part of a signed and numbered limited edition. Edition sizes vary depending on the print size and format.

Each print is personally signed and individually numbered. The signature and edition number are placed on the mat or on the back of the print, never across the photograph itself, so the image remains completely unobstructed.

Once an edition sells out, no additional prints from that edition will be produced.

Framed by an explosion of crimson crepe myrtle blossoms on the left and a curved bed of scarlet flowers sweeping through the foreground, the United States Capitol dome presides over its own grounds with the serene authority of a building that knows exactly what it represents. The sweeping green lawn stretches between the blooms and the neoclassical facade in a perfect gradient of American summer color, while a brilliant blue sky threaded with wispy clouds completes a composition so saturated and layered it practically vibrates off the wall. Washington has rarely looked this simultaneously powerful and genuinely joyful.

This is the Capitol at its most welcoming, stripped of gravity by sheer botanical abundance and brilliant light. It works beautifully as a statement piece in a home office, a formal living room, or anywhere that could use a reminder that the nation's most recognizable address also happens to sit inside some seriously spectacular gardens.
