About the Limited Edition

Every Spiral View Photography print is part of a signed and numbered limited edition. Edition sizes vary depending on the print size and format.

Each print is personally signed and individually numbered. The signature and edition number are placed on the mat or on the back of the print, never across the photograph itself, so the image remains completely unobstructed.

Once an edition sells out, no additional prints from that edition will be produced.

With my general style, I'm pretty used to waking up early and hiking to hit the sunrise. This vacation to Ocean City was no exception, but a few dull days really makes you consider sleeping in. It's all worth it though when the combination of atmosphere and clouds create such a vibrant environment to capture.

The Atlantic announces the new day over Ocean City with absolutely no restraint whatsoever, the entire horizon igniting in a band of molten gold where the sun crests the waterline and sends crimson and magenta cascading upward through layered cloud cover all the way to deep violet at the top of the frame. Waves roll in through the saturated foreground, their motion captured in silky swirls of burgundy and rose that pull the reflected sunlight across the wet sand toward the viewer in ribbons of pure liquid color. The whole scene operates somewhere between photograph and oil painting, the kind of sunrise that arrives unannounced and leaves no question about whether getting up before dawn was worth it.

Bold, immersive, and impossible to walk past without stopping, this is a print built for the large wall that needs one definitive statement piece. The spectrum of red, coral, gold, and violet carries warmth into any room regardless of season, and the motion of the water gives it a kinetic energy that static landscapes simply cannot match. Ocean City locals and Atlantic Coast devotees will recognize the feeling immediately, but this one needs no biography to earn its place.
