The Bronze Terrier Takes Five

Signed and numbered limited-edition fine art photography, available on fine art paper or metal.

Print & Size Guide

Fine Art Paper
Professionally printed on archival fine art paper. Smaller prints arrive matted in standard frame sizes:

4×6 print → 5×7 mat
5×7 print → 8×10 mat
8×10 or 8×12 print → 11×14 mat

Larger fine art paper prints are sold unmatted and are ready for your choice of framing.

Metal Prints
Printed directly on aluminum for a vibrant, contemporary presentation. Metal prints arrive ready to hang and appear to float away from the wall.

Choosing a Size
The size shown in the selector refers to the photograph itself, not the outside dimensions of the mat. Select a size and finish above to see the options available for this photograph.

Fine Art Paper: 4x6 prints are matted to 5x7, 5x7 prints to 8x10, and 8x10/8x12 prints to 11x14. Larger paper prints are unmatted. Metal prints arrive ready to hang.

About the Limited Edition

Every Spiral View Photography print is part of a signed and numbered limited edition. Edition sizes vary depending on the print size and format.

Each print is personally signed and individually numbered. The signature and edition number are placed on the mat or on the back of the print, never across the photograph itself, so the image remains completely unobstructed.

Once an edition sells out, no additional prints from that edition will be produced.

Rhett the Boston Terrier has claimed the best bench on Commonwealth Avenue with the boneless, fully committed sprawl of a mascot who has absolutely nowhere else to be, his bronze limbs draped across the BU-monogrammed seat with an air of cheerful ownership that is impossible not to smile at. The sculpture's extraordinary detail rewards a close look — every fold of his jersey, every paw, every whisker cast in warm patinated bronze that catches the early morning golden hour light filtering through the tree canopy above. A Boston University campus sign glows in the soft-focused background while autumn-tinged leaves and warm amber light wrap the whole scene in a distinctly New England seasonal warmth.

This is the campus print that earns the laugh first and the long look second, and that combination is genuinely rare. Rhett's relaxed posture and the casual invitation of the empty bench beside him give the image an interactive quality that transforms a sculpture photograph into something closer to a portrait of a very confident individual who simply got there first. BU alumni will feel the immediate recognition, and everyone else will simply want to sit down.
